Companion Program

Québec City has four centuries of history, 400 years in which it became the city we now know, a city of rich and diverse urban activities, a cultural grandeur. Québec is inhabited by people from all over the world, who evolve in neighborhood lives and who participate in the French-speaking outreach.

Our delegate companions will have the pleasure to discover this capital with a program including visits, activities, a banquet and free time for the discovery of the many shops and museums located throughout the city.

Several activities are already scheduled, and others may be planned according to the group’s preferences.

 The inevitable

  • A tour of Old Québec to enjoy the European charm of the first French city in North America!
  • The citadel that takes us through the Québec fortress, which is the largest British fortress in North America.
  • Québec’s Parliament, which tells the story of the province parliamentary institutions and houses many works of art.
  • Walks to observe and contemplate the magnificent historical Petit Champlain.
  • The great restaurant Chez Boulay – bistro boréal, which offers products from the wilderness of northern Canada and where chefs’ reputation is well established.

  • A tour of the countryside to discover the magnificent Ile d’Orléans, the Montmorency Falls which is 30 metres higher than Niagara Falls, and the magnificent basilica Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, a place of pilgrimage and one of the five national sanctuaries of Canada.
